Have you ever packed for a Walt Disney World vacation?

Every time I have to pack to go to Walt Disney World Resort, I fear I may forget something, and believe it or not I ALWAYS forget to bring a hairbrush!!… Fortunately, resorts do have small shops on-site that sell the basics. However, who wants to go leave their room with messy, wet hair?

After several trips, I have compiled a list trying to cover the basics… You can download it, here!

We are a family of three, and I still find myself printing it and going over it several times before a trip.

Here are three of my favorite things to bring with us and how I use them:

• Ziploc bags, three “pop-up hamper” and garbage bags. Yes, garbage bags!
• I use ziploc bags to pack everything I am taking in my “park bag“. I separate my phone charger and cable in one. My poncho in another one, some water flavoring and snacks in a different one. This makes it so much easier when going through security in case they have to search my bag. Because they are transparent, they can quickly pull them out one by one, and look through them without emptying the whole thing on the table. Makes it easy to retrieve things while walking in the park and not drop them, too.
• When it comes to the gallon size bags, I use them to make sure I have everything for each day of the week. I have been doing this since my son was little. Makes it so easy to get ready in the morning, we just grab the bag for the day and run to the bathroom to get ready knowing we have everything we need. No fighting the suitcases or drawers.
• The “pop-up hampers” make it so easy to repack before coming home. I insert a garbage bag in each pop-up hamper. We sort the dirty clothes by color. When it is time to pack to go home. We use pull the garbage bags and compress them, and throw them in the suitcase. As soon as we get home, we take them to the laundry room and get started with the first load.
